Objectively, I know this album isn’t all that impressive or amazing.  Actually, it’s pretty “meh” outside of a few high moments.  I can point out its flaws (of which there are many - so not going into detail) and agree with most reviewers who didn’t like it on at least one point they make about it sucking.  Yet, I listen to it again and again and again and never get tired of it.  I love it so fucking much and I don’t even know why.  (Except that I do know why.  Go on, guess.)  What happens when he makes an album that’s an objectively excellent piece of work?  Assuming, of course, that he ever does such a thing. (Won’t know until it happens.)  But seriously, if I were any more excited I’d be the fucking Pointer Sisters.  Can it be Spring 2011 now?
